Winter Rekindling

It’s a bright sunny morning of a cool breezy winter.

Chirpy birds, flocking their colorful hues.

With their little mellow beaks they tickle each other.

Frosty dews sprinkled on grass are what they nipping.

Along with me is this beauty, full of life and merry.

And along is you, my blessing is what I count.

Holding hands with fingers locked, we strole.

The wind blows, along with bringing some mirth.

We halt beneath the shadow of this huge tree.

Spreading its branches like tentacles of cupid’s magic.

You pull me close, I try to shy away.

But your grip is tight, yet soft is its touch.

You caress my lips with your finger tips.

Then your lips meet mine, dewy warm its touch feels.

With Goosebumps of nervousness I try to free myself.

But you lift me high, in your arms feathered with love.

High up with the wings of your love I fly.

I slide down slowly on ground, from the height.

Happiness deepens, as dimples they reflect on my cheeks.

A naughty glow on your face is what I foresee.

You make me sit besides on the shimmering silvery grass.

Hugging me in a warm embrace, like never let me go.

With your exhale scent my neck, softly it tickles.
Dreamy I feel in your scented love.

I play with your hair, slight curls are they.

I blow your lashes, your eyebrows twitch grows.

Together we lay in each other’s arms.

With the winds feather your face with my locks.

It’s growing cold, but with you I find inner warmth.

A forever kindling spark of our romance and love.

Which you promised to never let it die.

And which I promise to always let be ignited in my soul.
