I gaze at the horizon, the orange ball drowning in the blue.
The gulls on their flight,
Off to their nest, back to their love.
The ships sail off to their destination,
With aspirations and desires in the passengers.
Like brown blog they float and dissolve slowly at the fine blue line.
I stand there like a marble statue,
Engraved with the wait of your return.
Months have passed by you sailed in the blue.
Leaving me behind on the stony shore.
My feet have paralyzed,
My heart is growing stone old.
With every sail passing by I long to see you.
But gone are you so far from me, my love.
My hands are so meek to reach out for you.
Red satin wavering in the salty breeze,
Oozing out from my cut wounds.
The depth of which is growing with time like a gangrene,
A hole growing in my heart.
The salty breeze precipitates salt on my cheeks,
But, it mingles well with my lingering pain.
The pain of your ignorance,
I tried to stop, I begged but you were gone.
Sailed off from the shore of my heart, in to the misty morose of the blue.
Here I am standing still there like a women who can’t be moved,
Stone-cold to her inner core.
The breeze is still the same, the soothing lash.
In its moistly tamed touch which lingers to my cheek,
Accompanying the salty tears of mine.
Flowing in unity down the time rugged open wounds of mine.
I am still in wait for you,
Though my eyes seems to give up as it dint lash even once.
Since time you kissed them last.
My lips have dried, in the thirst of you touch.
Here I stand alone awaiting for you to return.
Dock back to the shores of my heart.
Until the blue keeps spattering me,
With the droplets of time filled memories of ours.
Giving me hopes to survive until you return.
