Me My DADDY'S Pet

Nine months in my mum's womb.

Yet i became my daddy's pet,

The day i saw him with my just borned eyes.

Hardly light entering,my visioned so blind.

But the touch of his humongous fingers compared to mine,

Confined in me that he was my gaurdian angel!

Me his daughter and he my dad, may be not only my dad,

My friend, the "best". he always said.

He made me giggle with all his caricatures.

Just two see me smile, with two pairs of my milk tooth.

Two up and two down.

When i grew two, he gifted me my first doll,

Barbie what it was called.

I tore her apart, but my dad dint mind.

Because he was my friend,

When i was five, he got me my first bike (bicycle).

The scare in me to ride, banished by my dad's phrase.

"I am here, your friend", the best he said.

He pushed my bike and dint let me fall.

Till i learned and took control, on my own.

When i was a teen, he was still my friend.

My body in change, my menstrual on start.

He knew his doll was growing.

My adolesence in full bloom.

My dad sat next to me, counseled me as a friend, the "best" he always said.

Never did he left me alone, even when i committed mistakes.

He let me fall, bruised my knees and then said.

Today i am a women from a baby doll of my dad,

A women with courage, that my dad instilled in me.

Teaching me from my mistakes.

My roots strongly grounded, nurtured by my dad love.

Pride in my eyes to be my daddy's pet.

I may play many roles, in years to come.

Of a friend, lover, wife, a mother.

But the best i ever played and pledge to play.

Is of a daughter. A proud daughter of my that friend
