Painted Thoughts

A little here a little there.
I find painted thoughts everywhere.
Lost in their desires, responsibilities and dreams,
I find people and their worldly thoughts.
In metro, on road, in malls light up bright.
Painted thoughts are everywhere.
Some are with a smile, some with the wrinkles of anguish
Some with the sorrows hidden behind.
Beneath the blue, on the green in the noon,
Sitting besides the shore, marooning in the room.
You find painted thoughts everywhere.
Some are so deep, some are just a flash.
Few prove to be déjà vu.
But there they are all around you.
Some make you smile; few make your heart ache.
Some you don’t want to recall, yet they knock your doorsteps.
A few you rejoice again and again.
A few, you try to run away from them.
Some are pestered, some are gaily.
Some are dark, gray spots everywhere,
Few painted in lovely red.
Few rise like a bubble, burst into memories,
Reverie turns into pleasure.
They cling to you all the time,
Like shadows following your every footstep.
They never let you bore, a companion at times.
Churning inside your mind whipping up the creams of failures and desires.
Painted thoughts are they, and they are everywhere.

P.S.: I guess everyone gets lost in thoughts most of the time when we are free, whether they are happy ones or the sad ones, but they are colored in their own sense, that's why we even say that we fell blue. Waiting for my friend at the metro platform, nothing to do, my thoughts started nagging me. they took me from the anguish of that i was waiting so long for her, to the pretty shoes the girls and boys moving to and fro from the metro. my thoughts even took me back to my childhood days and with the speed of a sonic boom they thrust me back to the present. In a nutshell they gave company to me.

Its just not with me, I even find  People sitting listening to music or just simply sitting, and lost in the world of thought. few even twitch their brows, i wonder are they feeling ached within. unlike few i find smiling on their own, may be thinking something sweet. :)

MoThEr

Seeded in your womb,
You went nine months of rib-cracking pain.
You pumped life into me,
Made me what I am today.

When I was four,
You slapped me for painting my nails.
But during my teenage,
You only brought me different colors of the same.

It was your shoulder, I cried,
When I went through a heart-break.
It was you,
Who even bared all my tantrums.

It was you,
Who taught me to cook.
It was you ,
Who taught me how to dress.

It was you,
Who cuddled me the cozy blanket in the cold winter night.
It was you only,
Who remained awake when my temperature ran high.

You are my first ever friend, I made.
You are even my first ever enemy,
When I was restricted.
You were the one, who even made sacrifices.

A guardian angel in disguise,
God sent you to me.
I still find solutions to my sorrows,
When I cling to you.

Like a teacher you taught me the right.
Like a friend I enjoyed my first movie with you.
Like a girlfriend we even talked nonsense.
A Mother who protected me always.

I know I have always been a tough child.
But, you always had a way with it.
The patience in you is infinite.
How can you be so tender, I wonder?

I may find friends, I may find that someone.
But no one ever has given love,
Like you do, Unconditionally!
For which you are the best, best you are MOTHER!

P.S.:This is a lil ode i make today to my mother. i may not be able to show this to her now. but surly one day i will. and moreover it is even my first poem of the year.....:)

Why its still Connected?

Minutes, hours, days have passed, an year .
A full circle of pain I am about to live again.
Like Fragrance of dried rose petals, gifted by you.
Your memories come to with tiptoe.

How can I break the bond, the soulful one we shared?
The little things that you did, still bind me to you.
My love!
You still bind me to you, my love!

Flashes of memories, hitting so hard.
Gorging away my peace.
The memory of your finger tips, tiptoeing to mine.
The soothing touch, entangling mine.

The warmth of your embrace, beneath the sheen of the cold moonlight.
The lovely words of never letting me go apart.
Rings in my ears, aching shrill noise.
Camouflaging the laughter all around.

When things are over for you, then why you still bind me to you?
Like cupid's invisible thread you make me cling to you.
Let me loose of this pain! Please I beg.
Life is no less than a living hell!

I close my eyes to run away from the fear, of being alone.
Makes me see your sparkling eyes.
Sleep is also cursed as it take me to you.
Your ignorance like nightmares makes me shout, late night.

Do you feel the same as I do? My love!
Like a wizard you have spellbound me in a dungeon.
Its floor bedded with roses, yet thorns to my feet.
You so far away from my reach.

Like a captive I am now.
Chained in your ignorant love.
An ever growing frustration its now, that how could you leave?
Were all the ties meant to be held by me? Not you?

With chords that can never be wearied.
You still bind me to you. My love!
Why do you still bind me to you? Let me loose now.
Or return back to me? I plead!

P.S. A frustration at time lost love ties it is because you want to forget but the little things that they did for you, made you feel special at the time hold you back from hating them.

You Hide That Sorrow

Cradled in her mum's lap, a short while.
Muddled up in her parents separation.
With a painful struggled childhood she had.
But yet dreams in her eyes.

A diva in her own sense.
Beauty in her to the brim.
Laughter hides her sorrows and past.
Lipstick red her smile.

Like every girl her aspirations were high.
A family and love is what she ever dreamed of .
The voids of childhood to be filled with some mirth.
Was her only desire.

She fell in love once, twice, thrice.
But never were they true to suffice.
Exploited was her naive beauty .
Sanctity of a women's soul sacrificed.

Bruises on her soul, tears rolled down her eyes.
Yet she bore that Lipstick red stretched.
To hold her poise.
With every blow she learned to smile.

Setting an example of "Beauty with Strength"
Boldness in her own sense.
Her rouge of struggled life never faded.
Still a STAR, Sparkling in the Night sky.

P.S.: years ago i came across a biography of Marilyn Monroe, a struggled childhood, prey of this male dominated society, her beauty exploited. what she ever wanted was a happy family and a little child, the love she was derived to be completed by someone special.

many women like her wish for love and affection, but unlike the lucky ones and like her few are left deprived, a prey to male's lust.

This is a dedication to the Diva.

Winter Rekindling

It’s a bright sunny morning of a cool breezy winter.
Chirpy birds, flocking their colorful hues.
With their little mellow beaks they tickle each other.
Frosty dews sprinkled on grass are what they nipping.

Along with me is this beauty, full of life and merry.
And along is you, my blessing is what I count.
Holding hands with fingers locked, we strole.
The wind blows, along with bringing some mirth.

We halt beneath the shadow of this huge tree.
Spreading its branches like tentacles of cupid’s magic.
You pull me close, I try to shy away.
But your grip is tight, yet soft is its touch.

You caress my lips with your finger tips.
Then your lips meet mine, dewy warm its touch feels.
With Goosebumps of nervousness I try to free myself.
But you lift me high, in your arms feathered with love.

High up with the wings of your love I fly.
I slide down slowly on ground, from the height.
Happiness deepens, as dimples they reflect on my cheeks.
A naughty glow on your face is what I foresee.

You make me sit besides on the shimmering silvery grass.
Hugging me in a warm embrace, like never let me go.
With your exhale scent my neck, softly it tickles.
Dreamy I feel in your scented love.

I play with your hair, slight curls are they.
I blow your lashes, your eyebrows twitch grows.
Together we lay in each other’s arms.
With the winds feather your face with my locks.

It’s growing cold, but with you I find inner warmth.
A forever kindling spark of our romance and love.
Which you promised to never let it die.
And which I promise to always let be ignited in my soul.

Lost and Found People

Sitting in my niche.

I come across this bubbles of thoughts.

Few are rainbowed and few seem to burst into mere water.

These bubbles are lost and found people of my life.

At random I come across the figure,

Of my tuition teacher, Building up in my mind.

A man of substance, a genius, a bundle of positive vibes.

His cigarette smoke swirling up in the sky.

Blurred and suddenly appears my childhood friend.

Bubbly-chubby and gracefully stupid in her own sense.

Gay is her smile, with joy in her very style.

She whisks, she dances and gone is she.

Through the mist of the wispy thoughts arise,

Is a fatherly guy, my dad is he.

Stout, managerial and humble.

With loads of love he has for me in a bundle.

Accompanying with him is this pretty woman,

Delicate smile yet strict eyes.

Keeping a continuous watch on me,

Seeing her daughter grow to feminism, my mother is she.

Lost in the words of thoughts I come across a poet,

Waveringly curly are her locks.

She seems to guide in my poetic thoughts.

Words are her wings, with rhythm she flies.

Thinking and muddled in my thoughts suddenly my phone rings.

Hello says a handsome voice.

He is a person who was lost and found by me later.

A friend to rely upon is always with a smile.

Smiling I suddenly fall so low.

Tears start sprouting in my eyes.

It’s the turn of my love, my man.

A tall handsome figure seems to walk out of the smoky thoughts.

I feel lifted in his arms.

Strong are they with a so delicate in touch.

With soft whispering tone are said those three words.

And then with a gush of cold air he is gone.

Knelt down I am, my arms in reach of him.

I try to shout, my voice doesn’t seem to stumble out.

He is a person who was found and I lost now.

In the darkest nightmares of my thoughts.

Regaining, I come across this lovely woman.

She is independent, blunt yet soft at heart.

A woman whose existence is there in my life though she is yet not found,

She is my loves mother, god’s creation she is named.

Carried on is one of my, used to be a special friend.

My loyalty was true to her, but yet she lied.

With every lie she said, our relation threaded.

Deep scars and wounds she has left, yet a friendly heart wants to see her smile.

Twisting and turning, bumping with each bubble.

I am hit upon this little bubble.

She wants to grow, out of the clutches of her misery.

With the wings of joy she wants to fly.

She comes and nibbles my mind.

And whispers, hey do you recognize me?

It’s me, your soul whom you have buried.

Release me out, let me breathe laughter.

She sits next to me, holds my cheeks in her palm.

Deep are her sad teary eyes, yet lips with a smile.

She gazes at me for a while.

And then speaks out in a mellow.

“You have found and lost people,

Lost and found them again.”

Life is all about discovering then why do you cry?”

Whoosh she leaves me with this thought.

"That amongst these found and lost, lost and found, people. Have I lost myself? Or am I yet to find who am I?"

Awaiting

I gaze at the horizon, the orange ball drowning in the blue.

The gulls on their flight,

Off to their nest, back to their love.

The ships sail off to their destination,

With aspirations and desires in the passengers.

Like brown blog they float and dissolve slowly at the fine blue line.

I stand there like a marble statue,

Engraved with the wait of your return.

Months have passed by you sailed in the blue.

Leaving me behind on the stony shore.

My feet have paralyzed,

My heart is growing stone old.

With every sail passing by I long to see you.

But gone are you so far from me, my love.

My hands are so meek to reach out for you.

Red satin wavering in the salty breeze,

Oozing out from my cut wounds.

The depth of which is growing with time like a gangrene,

A hole growing in my heart.

The salty breeze precipitates salt on my cheeks,

But, it mingles well with my lingering pain.

The pain of your ignorance,

I tried to stop, I begged but you were gone.

Sailed off from the shore of my heart, in to the misty morose of the blue.

Here I am standing still there like a women who can’t be moved,

Stone-cold to her inner core.

The breeze is still the same, the soothing lash.

In its moistly tamed touch which lingers to my cheek,

Accompanying the salty tears of mine.

Flowing in unity down the time rugged open wounds of mine.

I am still in wait for you,

Though my eyes seems to give up as it dint lash even once.

Since time you kissed them last.

My lips have dried, in the thirst of you touch.

Here I stand alone awaiting for you to return.

Dock back to the shores of my heart.

Until the blue keeps spattering me,

With the droplets of time filled memories of ours.

Giving me hopes to survive until you return.
