Why My Melody Was So Chocolaty

This post written in lilac because this was truly 'girly thinking' going in her head when she was chatting with her friend whom she had a huge crush and she somewhere knew that he too felt the same for her.


she was having a chat through text messages and along with it she was watching the Movie "The Notebook".
The messages goes this way. Where Preppie is a cute chocolaty boy who is tall fair and handsome and a bid introvert and Petal is a stubborn yet sensitive, extrovert girl short height-ed.


Preppie: hey you finished with your dinner?


Petal(with anxiety): hi! ya ummm well finished with my dinner and doing nothing much except watching a movie called "The Notebook".


Preppie: oh! you girls.


Petal(with false anger): whats so there to tell "oh all we girls?"


Preppie(flirting): ummm nothing.


Petal(aghast): what?? :-o


Preppie(shy): nothing. hey can i ask you something?? will you reply me truly??


Petal(expecting to be proposed now. heart beat so fast passing up and down a staircase): ya say?? what you wanna ask??


Preppie(teasingly): why is the chocolate "MELODY" so chocolaty. :-P


Petal(tearing off her hair.angry and depressed of not being asked the quetion she had been waiting for months): well i don't know(snappy). may be it has two layered chocolate coating. :(


Preppie( happy to tease the girl he loves and now getting serious to ask her about the question he always wanted to put forward to his lady love): okkkiesss.....huh! can i ask you something more???


Petal( upset and not expecting anything more than a prank): ya telllll....


Preppie(nervous): Petal! do you love me??? :)


Petal( excited, happy and nervous): ummm.....how would it matter??


Preppie(nervous): you tell me.. just tell me...matters a lot to me...


Petal(shy): ya i do...


Preppie(happy): Petal! even i love you....now and will always do forever...
so are we a couple now??? please???


Petal( wants to say yes but gets her chance to tease him): umm....look i really don't know...i have a huge friend circle of boys...i don't want a possessive boyfriend....and moreover i did try hard drinks and i am a non-vegetarian and you a vegetarian...


Preppie( sad but not giving u hope): i know you have a huge friend circle of boys and i won't be possessive. i love you and trust you and have complete faith in you....and you just tried hard drinks you aren't addicted :D....and i am a vegetarian, not my family....you will surely fit into it....and wont have offending dinner...:-P


Petal(teasingly): well i need time you see.....


Preppie(sad and hopefully expecting a yes but then confused): fine....:/


Petal(sleepless): goodnight..


Preppie:Goodnight to you too....:-*


This whole incident took place around 10:55pm to 11:30pm....
Now its 3:30am...Petal is awake thinking what to do.she knows she will say him yes but should she make him wait and tease him or should she simply say a yes and give him peace to his anxiety.


Petal(shy and super happy): errr......Its a "YES"....you may feel peaceful about me having many male friends but i am going to be a possessive lover for sure...ready to live with it??


Preppie(aghast to find her awake and all so happy): Petal you dint sleep yet..???


Petal: as if you did....dumbo....and i said a yes respond dude??? :-o :-(


Preppie(happy to have his lady love in his life): yes baby i am so happy.....i love you my life...and i think had you said me a no it i would have been all so incomplete without you....i love you:-*


Petal( shy and in tears): oh! i love you too... :'-)


Preppie(surprised to feel her cry and happy too): hey baby don't cry...they aren't meant to be wet by salty tears...they are meant to be kissed by me...your deep eyes...:) :-* now go to bed my love...i don't want to see dark circles underneath the pretty eyes of my love.....goodnight baby...:-* from today i guess you gonna dream about only..me...:-P


Petal(smiling): dumbo its not just today i will dream...i have been dreaming of you since i understood you...:-*Goodnight...:) :-*


Preppie: goodnight my lady love...:-*




This is how she found him as the new horizon of her life.The soul support she always wanted.The love of her life, the one who would wipe away her tears perhaps never let her cry.Will always make her smile and take away all her her pain.
The one who would complete her.
